Job Location: Whistler Athletes Centre

The Whistler Athletes’ Centre is a high performance training and accommodation facility for all levels of sport, educational groups, and art & culture organizations. Built for the athletes of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, competitors continue to utilize the Whistler Athletes’ Centre for short-and long-term lodging and dryland conditioning. As the headquarters for the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, and the Whistler Campus for the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific, no other venue provides the level of accessibility and amenities for athletes like the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.
The Lodge Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness at the Whistler Athletes’ Centre including the Lodge, Townhomes and High Performance Centre. This role is organized and friendly and works well within a team while demonstrating the Whistler Sport Legacies’ philosophy that All Interactions Matter (AIM).  Casual, Temporary Part Time and Temporary Full Time roles require flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing a high level of guest service. Duties will include guest check-in/out, issue resolution, cash handling, daily reporting, general sales support and guest services on all aspects of the resort while maintaining the philosophy that All Interactions Matter (AIM).  Casual and Temporary Part Time roles require flexibility to assist the team with other activities or initiatives.

This position involves the general site maintenance of the Whistler Olympic Park. Duties include but are not limited to manual snow clearing, trail maintenance, ski jump preparation, and assisting ski patrol in their activities. Seasonal Full Time and Casual roles require flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

The Snowshoe Guide/Shuttle Bus Driver is the first point of contact with the Whistler Olympic Park guest and ensures an optimum experience while adhering to guest safety and quality.  Responsibilities include interpretive snowshoe tours of 1 to 2 hours in length, safe pick-up and delivery of guests between their lodging and WOP, and is cross-trained in all aspects of the department.  This is a full time seasonal role and requires availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

The Guest Activity Rep is the first point of contact with the Whistler Olympic Park guest. This role provides excellent customer service to guests while assisting in their selection of product or service that most appropriately meets their needs. In addition, they will endeavor to maximize sales by facilitating the promotion, sales, and booking of sport school instructional programs and drive business by targeting WSL products. The Guest Activity Rep will be cross-trained in all guest serviced areas including retail and rental. Seasonal full time roles require ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

The Sport Coach delivers coaching, instructional and educational programs to guests of Whistler Olympic Park (WOP).  Reporting to the Supervisor, Sport School duties include excellent customer service and assisting clients in selection of products or services that most appropriately meet their needs.  Seasonal casual roles requiring the flexibility to assist the team with other activities or initiatives including the ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
